Paper Dally

Dally is an older character of mine, based on a stuff dalmatian I received for my birthday years ago. He pays a bit of a role in Maggie and my relationship, maybe someday I’ll tell that story. One of the first pieces I ever drew and felt really good about featured him, and it’s still a popular part of my portfolio. I may post it later this year.

I enjoyed pulling out the old cut paper technique the other day, so here’s another quick one.

When I started this project, I didn’t intend to spend as much time on each piece, though they are going quickly (for me) for the detail level. With my work on Hex Libris, I hope that some simpler, quicker pieces will still look good for this project. Especially when I’m teaching and have even less spare time.
