Again, dedicated to my wife, because I miss her terribly and can’t wait to meet up with her in England next Tuesday. Today may be her last day with Internet access, so I wanted to get this up. It’s my first self-portrait for this project, using as reference a photo of me holding Storm for the first time. Just a quick pen and ink with wash, with a few little artistic flourishes thrown in

So Maggie, we both miss you so much. I’ve made myself look like I do now, not then, and Storm is no longer the pudgy, short-tailed ball of fluff she was (though she remains so at heart). We hope this makes you smile.
