If we were in Austin, today is when we’d be at the farmer’s market. We rarely buy for ourselves there. Nope, we are dragged there by the dog. She knows it’s Saturday. Unlike other days, she will pull on the leash in the direction of the market, and we are hauled the four or five blocks to the adjacent park. There, she visits her favorite of all places, The Paw Bakery stall. If they aren’t there, inconsolable doesn’t cover the response.

In the photo, she’s looking over her shoulder at someone who might just give her a treat. You can train and train, but here, all good behavior goes right out the window. Every Saturday is like Christmas morning to Storm.
