Angel and Devil

Back in the summer of 2002, I attended The Illustration Academy, held that year in Richmond, VA. One of the assignments was a square piece featuring opposites. I ended up going with hot and cold, and without any dogs (I do draw things other than dogs, you know). But while moving our office upstairs, I discovered the sketchbook I had with me during that course. And it had many different idea sketches for the assignment, including a very rough version of today’s image. You know, opposites, good and evil, angel and devil. With dogs.

I’ll be going through lots of old sketchbooks looking for ideas. After all, I have to do a couple hundred more dogs this year, and I need ideas. Help!
