Today, I went simple and cute. I avoided making the eyes too big on this dog, so as to avoid the “sad, big-eyed tear-in-the-eye” look that I always hated as a kid (and still, come to think of it). I’ve been doing pieces that take longer than I planned recently, sometimes because of details, sometimes because of mess-ups that require fixing or restarting. So I decided to see what I could do with working quickly.

I’m actually pretty pleased with it.

I haven’t even done 100 dogs yet, so well over 250 to go. Sigh. Perhaps someone will send me a giant ideas file to keep me going.
