I’ve been looking through some old Pogo collections and remembering how humbling it is to look at Walt Kelly’s drawings. An amazing artist. A collection of his strips should be coming back into print around Christmas, starting with the the earliest, with future volumes continuing the 20+ year run of Pogo.

So here’s a dog (two for one!) salute to the great man. My artist’s prayer is that if he’s turning in his grave, it’s only a slight move to one side and not a full rotation.
