Jacob

Jacob, a neighbor’s Golden Retriever and an occasional visitor to our place, died on Monday. Maggie and I loved Jacob, a big gentle dog with a penchant for leaning against you and pinning you to the wall. He was an interesting contrast to Storm, being more caramel colored, much larger and a bit more relaxed about things. He was always happy to see us and loved to have his cheek or his lower back scratched. I dedicate today to his memory.
