I started out intending to do a sort of Anime dog, then decided that an Anime dog has to be something special or different. So I decided on a very tiny dog, who’s big for his size. I liked the color effect I was getting and wandered away from a more traditional Anime coloring style, so I guess the initial idea and the final product are somewhat different.

The logo on the mug is one I designed for my dad’s clock repair business, Lost in Time. It’s also the name and logo of his blog.
