One of my ballpoint pen drawings, also known as working without a net. This one avoided the fate of an earlier ballpoint dog, which I spilled water on (but still rescued). I did rush to the scanner with this to make sure I got it posted safely.

All you out there who enjoy drawing, go grab a ballpoint pen and do a drawing, from reference or imagination. How does it feel to you? Terrifying? Freeing? Both? I’d love to hear how others feel about working this way on occasion.
