Three Minute Dogs

A while back I posted a three minute dog. This is a sort of artistic temperature taking: what can you achieve when the clock is ticking and you only have three minutes to create a drawing? I did these two between classes today (three minutes each, not both in three minutes). Not great art, but certainly a great exercise.

The hardest part is posting these and worrying that people think I’m only doing quick sketches because I can fulfill my daily dog duties rapidly. That, and worrying that some of you out there could create much better dogs in three minutes. Grab an egg timer or something and try it yourself. You might be pleasantly surprised.
