Another beautiful dog awaiting adoption at the Austin Humane Society.

This one is straight from the sketchbook, raw as can be. I had trouble capturing this dog at first, so you can see all my corrections (pentimenti, if you’re feeling loqacious and perhaps a bit pretentious). Somedays, the drawing just fights me. But don’t take it out on Ladybird. If you want a new dog (and how could you resist her, if only we could get another), adopt!
