This is the piece that almost led to the destruction of my computer last week. It’s for Illustration Friday, and the challenge for this week is Fog. For some reason I fumbled about with this for a while and couldn’t find the right composition. Poor Doctor Watson finally had to go, and I’m happier with the piece for his absence.

Sherlock Holmes actually did use a bloodhound named Toby in a few adventures. Here they are, detective and dog, racing through the streets of an imaginary London.
