Decker Creek Redux
Not that I don’t love teaching, but after finishing four weeks and then doing a weekend workshop with a brand new class (which takes more preparation), I needed some down time. So did Maggie. So we’ve returned to the Decker Creek Bed and Breakfast and Biscuit. After all, Storm had to be included as well.
As you can see above, we’ve had some nice nature walks and, despite the drought, a bit of a swim as well. I think Storm looks like a dog-type sea monster in that one photo. She’s a bit restless here. She’s really taken to the owner and wants to be with him, or out on a walk. Matty the dog is still here, and there’s a new resident Saluki named Shiva as well. As you can tell, Shiva gives Storm some competition in the beauty category.
If you’re a dog owner in the Austin area, this place is for you. Plan two nights, so you get a full day to just relax in the tranquil surroundings. And we had waffles for breakfast, you have to love that.
