Canned
Illustration Friday this week gives the word “Canned”. So here’s mine. Maybe I could have worked to come up with a more original angle, but I was amused by wondering what dogs would pray for. I realized there is only one thing that gives us any sort of advantage over our canine friends, and that’s opposable thumbs.
If they could open containers and cans and get their own meals, would they love us as much? I know Storm loves me most at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Oh this is so funny and very different take on the subject! I believe dogs actually wish for this, so do cats!

That is so adorable. I like your’s better, but you also could have used “I’ll stop licking my own but.” Love it.
