As I’ve mentioned before, I’m not very good at things requiring carving, sculpting or forming with hands. But it’s Hallowe’en, and therefore a pumpkin is in order. And it’s up to me to challenge my artistic shortcomings in this project.

Sure, it may not be the most amazing pumpkin you’ve ever seen.

But it’s a dog. And I did it. And it came out better than I thought it might. Next year, I’ll try something more ambitious. For now, this was ambitious enough (cutting the little hole for the tongue was a triumph for me).
