I did a ball-point version of this dog earlier in the year, and I felt he deserved a full painting.

I’ve reached the home stretch on my year of creating a dog a day. I’m just starting my 11th month, and have only 60 dogs left for the year. It’s funny to say “only,” as before I did this project, I would have viewed 60 as a huge number of drawings and projects to complete. Now it seems like an easy ride to the finish. But I can’t get cocky, it would be too easy to get complacent and somehow miss out a day.

I hope you stay with me for the rest of the journey. And next year, I promise regular updates. Not daily, but regular.
