This week’s Illustration Friday word is “wise”. So who’s wiser than an old dog? And an old dog in glasses must be the wisest of us all.

The computer saga continues, with last night’s dramatic midnight collapse of my hard drive. The hardy band of backup rebels saved the day, and now the computer is in a reeducation camp, awaiting a new hard drive and an improvement in attitude. On Saturday, I hope to have it back in the team.

Thus, today’s dog was done on the back of a scrap of paper. You can see my scribbly pencil lines beneath the brush pen strokes and smudged shading.
