Similar

This week’s Illustration Friday word is “similar”. So here’s my entry, in which the puppy has similarities to both parents. Don’t think too hard about parentage issues here and the piece will be more fun. After all, there are tons of cartoons in which different animals have kids (Camp Lazlo has a mongoose who’s father is a bison and a hamster with squids for parents).

The three-week countdown starts now. Only three weeks worth of dogs left in order to finish the creative commitment I made  at the beginning of the year: a dog a day for the full year. Barring absolute disaster (falling anvils, alien abductions) I’ll cross the finish line with a smile on my face.
