A small pack of dogs lift their voices to celebrate Christmas Eve. While the Illustration Friday creativity challenge of the week is “voices,” I only realized that this piece would fit that word after Maggie suggested that I do caroling dogs.

This is my special day in the Christmas season. I love Christmas Eve. Somehow, I find Christmas day a bit anticlimactic. The real magic is in the anticipatory night before, as candles glow and good cheer fills the air.
