Lunchtime Fake Watercolor Dog
April 6th, 2008
I taught all day on Saturday, and during lunchtime I did a quick sketch using Illustrator (the program I was teaching at the Austin Museum of Art). I was showing a student how to put different brush effects onto Illustrator strokes, and tried the watercolor look. I expected it to look horrible.
Here it is. I think my lunchtime dog came out pretty well. And it bodes well for the summer, when I’ll be teaching a lot and will have to make time to keep up with these dogs. Now I just have to fight to keep on schedule with my webcomic, Hex Libris.
