Happy Anniversary
April 24th, 2008
Nine years ago today, in an old stone church in London, Maggie and I got married. So we’ve been together almost eleven years, married for nine and have had a dog for seven. Sounds like commitment to me.
We didn’t have a traditional wedding cake like this. We had a huge pyramid of profiteroles, mixing elegance with the chocolate I demanded. No white frosting yellow cake for us. We didn’t have a cake topper, either, since it wouldn’t have stood up on top of the pyramid.
Happy anniversary to my beautiful girl. I love you.
