I just had to do a luchador poster dog. My friend Christy created the most amazing grackle luchador called Ganador (winner). And Austin put it outside city hall. And then some maniac set fire to it, destroying it. Seriously, check out Christy’s work, she’s my choice for the Austin Chronicles best artist category this year, and I will be aiming to push that heavily come the time. The mask is based on Ganador’s with the colors and flames… I tried to replicate it but the narrow beak allowed things Archie’s big fat nose won’t allow.
