Another attempt at model building, this one was a lot of fun to come up with and I really like the little guy. I’ll wait for my wife to tell me this pup’s name. The design is mine, but based on the Creative Commons two-part pop up assembly from creativello.com.

You can download the pattern for this piece here. There is a white piece you fold into a tent that goes in the base, push down and it will pop things back up again.
