My friend Lindsey Lane, the amazingly talented author and also amazingly encouraging supporter of this Dog a Day project, has been spending her social-distancing time fostering pups. But she also has her own, Penny. Who I met briefly while she was in a car and a bit shy about me. So I was delighted to get such a lovely photo from Lindsey that I just had to paint her.
