This just came out of random scribbling. In the rough lines I scribbled down, I started to see a tired, anthropomorphic dog, leaning hard on his staff/walking stick. Is it a cape? Is it a rainproof thing? A fantasy world or one like ours? I don’t know. What I did realize after finishing… we’ve been watching The World’s Toughest Race on Amazon Prime and there is one amazingly tough older man who we watched driven past his abilities. It’s riveting television and obviously it worked its way into this dog without my noticing.
