For Riley’s 9th birthday, I made her a pop-up card. And I’m just learning to do pop ups. I could have called this the “bit off more than I could chew” dog but I love Riley and in the end this turned out well enough to share. I learned a ton and if it wasn’t “Dog a Day” and if today wasn’t Riley’s birthday (she doesn’t care in the least) I’d take what I learned through failure and do another assembly. But it photographs pretty well. And Riley is a pretty good dog (she’s the best, in her way).
