Archie showed up with this poster in tow. You might not remember that Archie costarred in Yankee Doodle Dandy with James Cagney. But he did, and here’s the proof. Movie posters don’t lie. Archie said that as Maggie was getting her citizenship today, after 20 years in the US, it was time to share this piece of history. I’m not sure Maggie will stand for being called a Yank by her fellow Brits, but she’ll be proudly exercising her new citizenship rights in a few months. I’m proud of her.
