Well, not necessarily Maxine, but Austin Pets Alive! has a very cool new program that saves dogs on the verge of being euthanized in other shelters. APA is a no-kill shelter and very much worth your support, and the Dog n’ Dash program allows people who have completed a foster application to drive up and foster a dog in need on the spot. Sadly, there are new dogs regularly.
