Years and years and years ago I did a webcomic called Hex Liberia. There was a magical library, Frankenstein’s creature, a witch who wanted the library… but the part I keep returning to is Connie Carter, Girl Detective. She was always the character I had the best grasp on, an intrepid mystery solving girl from mid-20th century America. I still want to work with her, if I can figure out how. She had a dog named Watson, so here they both are in 1950s comics style.
